De Lacy holds a BA(FA) (2017) degree from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, her hometown. She currently resides in The Netherlands but draws upon her lived experiences from South Africa, China, The UK and The Netherlands.

Her most recent solo exhibition was in Enschede, The Netherlands at a Local cultural community hub, Tankstation. She Exhibited The Knotted Entity that started in South Africa then migrated to The Netherlands alongside her. She aims to continue the project in different countries and locations.
